Escape the more tourist area to explore the north inner city and understand why Phibsborough district was named ‘one of the world’s coolest neighbourhoods’. Stroll through the beautiful Blessington Basin, past the home of Bohemians FC at Dalymount Park and to the Royal Canal made famous by Brendan Behan in ‘the Auld Triangle’.
On this journey you will experience highlights of the the exciting new vegan food culture that is growing across Dublin. No longer just bacon and cabbage, the food scene in Ireland is making huge steps forward. Talented Irish and international chefs based in the city are developing an impressive new plant based cuisine for locals and visitors alike to relish.
What to Expect
You will visit three local pubs on the north side of the river during this tour where you will get to taste independent, local craft beers, whiskey and gin. After some traditional Irish food, you will enjoy the craic in the pub with the Irish music session.
You will visit five or six different restaurants and producers in the north city area to taste locally sourced, sustainable produce from independent businesses and restaurants. Lower your carbon footprint and take the green option while also enjoying delicious Irish food!
