What to Expect
We meet outside the CHQ building beside the river and begin with a guided tour of a working craft brewery and a tasting session of this locally brewed beer. We then cross the Samuel Beckett bridge to make our way through Ringsend and on to Irishtown as we visit four local bars for a glass of craft beer in each.
We will begin with a taster of a classic Irish style as we look out over the city and district from a rooftop bar before we tour a working, craft distillery in the heart of the Liberties. As we explore further we describe the brewing and distilling tradition so long associated with the area.
