Explore the main sights and learn about the history of our beautiful and fascinating old city on this perfect introduction to Dublin. From the centre of O’Connell outside the iconic GPO we cross the river to visit and describe the most famous sights. Past the front gate of Trinity College, on through the cobbled streets of Temple Bar and beyond to the two famous cathedrals we will show you the best of Dublin and and describe the rich history that brought us to where we are today.
Listen to the stories of how the city was shaped by Christians, Celts, Vikings, Normans, English and, finally, Americans to create the vibrant and modern international hub that Dublin has now become. Hear your local guide explain what it is to be a Dubliner and to live in this buzzing city!
What to Expect
We will meet beside the Spire in the middle of O’Connell street (Look for the yellow umbrella!).
